How to play
You can play in classic mode with unlimited balls and without bonus items, or in arcade mode, where you have only 6 balls and bonus items. The bat is controlled by mouse only. It's all about timing. Try to hit the ball at the right moment as fast as you can. If you miss, there's a great deal of chance to get balled out. Hitting obstacles such as seagulls and fieldsmen as well as multiplier bonuses can dramatically affect your overall score and multiply it by 2 or even 4 times.
About the game
Vodafone is a British telecommunication company, third-largest in the world - after China Mobile and India's Airtel. It's connection with cricket is that they used to be general sponsor of Australian Test cricket for about 11 years, until 2012. This game was a result of their symbiotic marketing campaign. The game has been dedicated to the captain of Australian cricket team Michael Clarke, or short 'Clarkey'. International Cricket Council has proclaimed him to be the cricketer of the year 2013, therefore he's one of the world's finest batsmen. Source : Clarkey as cricketer of the year
The game somewhat resembles to the old FOG's game World Cup Practice. Except the basic idea, compared to that one, every aspect of the game has been significantly improved. Better mechanics, atmosphere, animations, sound effects, everything.
