What is a pinch hitter in cricket?
Pinch hitter or a slogger is a word for batsman who was promoted to score quick runs by playing aggressively and thus being at risk of getting dismissed. This is usually just a substitute batter, not the major starting player. It is a part of strategy where it is far more important to score quick runs than to keep wickets in hand. The manager can promote any player who hasn't played yet at the moment when the ball is dead.
What means to get bowled out?
This is an expression for being dismissed when you miss the ball that's being delivered, and it hits the the batsman's wicket and brakes it.
What is LBW?
Lbw is an abbreviation for leg before wicket. The batsman has been dismissed because he missed the ball with the bat but he hit it with some part of his body and thus prevent it from hitting the wicket. Something like using a hand in football.
