Basically this game is all about batting, i.e. defending the wicket and scoring runs. You play as a batsman standing right in front of the wicket, getting prepared for the next bowling. Making runs is less important, because sooner or later you will score something. The point is not to allow the ball to hit the wicket stumps. If that happens, you're out and the game is over, leaving you with a choice of rematch. Look at this game as a practice. As there are no other fielders, it could easily get boring. On the other hand, this is a nice little game which sharpens your concentration and improves the reaction speed, everything it takes to become a good batsman in a real match.
